Extended location with topping out ceremony

It was that time again: NORD DRIVESYSTEMS cel­e­brat­ed a top­ping-out cer­e­mo­ny for anoth­er expan­sion of the grow­ing com­pa­ny on August 12, 2021. Only recent­ly, a new auto­mat­ed small parts ware­house (AS/RS) had been put into oper­a­tion in Bargte­hei­de. The cur­rent new build­ing project “Admin­is­tra­tion 4” will sus­tain­ably ease the cur­rent­ly cramped office sit­u­a­tion at the site.

The top­ping-out cer­e­mo­ny marks a major mile­stone in the com­ple­tion of the new office build­ing. Admin­is­tra­tion Build­ing 4 is also a vis­i­ble sign of the Group’s steady growth. There are cur­rent­ly around 1,000 employ­ees work­ing at the site and more than 4,100 world­wide. It was only in 2015 that NORD DRIVESYSTEMS moved into Admin­is­tra­tion Build­ing 3 with 3,448 m². Not long after, it was already clear that a fur­ther expan­sion of capac­i­ties would be nec­es­sary. Only six years lat­er, the new build­ing with 5,430 m² on four floors is tak­ing con­crete shape.
