Indus­tri­al automa­tion and dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion com­pa­ny Rock­well Automa­tion announced that Opti­ma Pack­ag­ing Group — a lead­ing provider of fill­ing and pack­ag­ing sys­tems for the phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal, con­sumer goods, paper hygiene and med­ical device indus­tries — has achieved Plat­inum OEM Part­ner status.

Rock­well Automa­tion’s com­pre­hen­sive OEM Part­ner Pro­gram was cre­at­ed to sup­port OEMs around the world. It pro­vides assis­tance in the design, devel­op­ment and deliv­ery of inno­v­a­tive equip­ment incor­po­rat­ing Rock­well Automa­tion solu­tions. All par­tic­i­pat­ing com­pa­nies see this as a strong strate­gic oppor­tu­ni­ty that sup­ports and dri­ves growth, inno­va­tion and mar­ket potential.

Plat­inum Part­ner sta­tus is a glob­al recog­ni­tion. It means that Opti­ma Pack­ag­ing Group can take advan­tage of the pro­gram’s ben­e­fits in its busi­ness oper­a­tions around the world. These include extend­ed war­ranties, improved access to tech­ni­cal, sales and mar­ket­ing plat­forms, joint events and expo­sure to and col­lab­o­ra­tion with many glob­al blue-chip brands sup­port­ed by Rock­well Automation.

In late 2020, the com­pa­ny evolved its OEM Part­ner Pro­gram to allow for par­tic­i­pa­tion based on need and per­for­mance. The pro­gram, which now involves near­ly 3,500 man­u­fac­tur­ers world­wide, pro­vides them with improved mar­ket access, sim­pli­fi­ca­tion and stan­dard­ized prod­uct align­ment, enabling pro­gram mem­bers to lever­age Rock­well Automa­tion tech­nol­o­gy. The com­pa­ny expects addi­tion­al Plat­inum part­ners, as well as a num­ber of Gold, Sil­ver and Bronze part­ners, to join the pro­gram — mak­ing it a prime devel­op­ment oppor­tu­ni­ty for machin­ery and equip­ment manufacturers.
