Innovation for smallest mass flow rates

Espe­cial­ly for the mea­sure­ment of com­pressed gas­es such as com­pressed air and for fuel-air con­trol, the new com­pact ven­turis from sys­tec Con­trols are designed with mul­ti­vari­able trans­mit­ter for mass flow cal­cu­la­tion. The mod­els V16‑8 with an open­ing diam­e­ter of 14x8x14mm, V16‑6 (14x6x14mm) and V16‑4 (14x4x14mm) extend the mea­sur­ing range of the pre­vi­ous ven­turi series down­wards. For exam­ple, atmos­pher­ic nat­ur­al gas/air mea­sure­ments for con­trol­ling com­bus­tion process­es can be real­ized from as lit­tle as 0.3 kg/h.

A sec­ond exam­ple is the mea­sure­ment of com­pressed air at 8bar already from 1.5 kg/h. All mod­els are equipped with a dis­play for indi­ca­tion of vol­ume flow, mass flow, absolute tem­per­a­ture and pres­sure. The largest screw-in ven­turi V40 cov­ers mea­sur­ing ranges up to over 900kg/h and has a R1 1/2 inch con­nec­tion thread. For even larg­er lines and mea­sur­ing ranges, the deltaflowC plug-in probe is used. This pro­vides mea­sur­ing sys­tems at prac­ti­cal­ly unlim­it­ed nom­i­nal diam­e­ters and mea­sur­ing ranges.

The prod­uct not only mea­sures flow, but also process pres­sure and tem­per­a­ture. Thus, a pres­sure / tem­per­a­ture com­pen­sa­tion is inte­grat­ed and the deltaflowC Ven­turi thus con­tin­u­ous­ly cal­cu­lates the cor­rect mass flow of a wide vari­ety of gases.
