New Chief Executive Officer at SGD Pharma

SGD Phar­ma, a glob­al leader in glass phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal pack­ag­ing, has announced the appoint­ment of Christophe Nicoli as the group’s new Chief Exec­u­tive Offi­cer (CEO), suc­ceed­ing Juer­gen Sackhoff.
Christophe Nicoli is a sea­soned inter­na­tion­al busi­ness leader, with a strong track record at both large and mid-size com­pa­nies. He joins SGD Phar­ma from Riou Glass, a pro­duc­er of tech­ni­cal glass for the con­struc­tion and trans­porta­tion sec­tors. He suc­cess­ful­ly devel­oped the Riou busi­ness by focus­ing on exter­nal growth, prod­uct inno­va­tion and cost effec­tive­ness. Pri­or to Riou, Christophe spent 17 years at Lafarge-Hol­cim, the world leader in cement and aggre­gates, lead­ing the group func­tions in strat­e­gy, mar­ket­ing and inno­va­tion and then as coun­try CEO (in Brazil and Venezuela). He began his career with the French Min­istry of Finance. His edu­ca­tion cov­ers Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion and eco­nom­ics at IMD in Switzer­land, Sci­ences Po and ENA in France.
