Smart Maintenance Software Line for Industrial Production Plants

Syn­os­tik, the IT ser­vice provider from Oeb­is­felde, Ger­many, will be pre­sent­ing its lat­est port­fo­lio of soft­ware tools for machine parks and pro­duc­tion oper­a­tions, which spe­cial­izes in indus­try, at this year’s Han­nover Messe from May 30 to June 2 in Hall 5, Stand E‑47/1. The prod­uct line is called “Main­te­nanceS­o­lu­tion­Line Indus­try” and offers intel­li­gent algo­rithms and tools for com­mis­sion­ing, inspec­tion, main­te­nance, test­ing, trou­bleshoot­ing and repair of machine park equip­ment. Part of the new line is the Diag­noseDesign­er, which can be used to cre­ate var­i­ous indus­tri­al algo­rithms, for exam­ple for main­te­nance and repair.

Fur­ther­more, the smart­phone app DIANA for inter­ac­tion with the user and the dig­i­tal plat­form QLOUDS for the inte­gra­tion of the appli­ca­tions are avail­able. The tools will be vivid­ly pre­sent­ed to trade fair vis­i­tors as part of an IoT mod­el fac­to­ry. The experts are not only focus­ing on their soft­ware solu­tions, but also want to illus­trate how these tools can solve or alle­vi­ate cur­rent prob­lems, such as the stag­na­tion of glob­al sup­ply chains.

Reduce downtime and optimize regional production

The stat­ed goal of smart main­te­nance, and there­fore sys­tem diag­nos­tics, is to reduce down­time through effi­cient tech­nol­o­gy. At Han­nover Messe, Syn­os­tik will present how tools enable smart main­te­nance in machine parks and thus opti­mize region­al indus­tri­al process­es. Par­tic­u­lar­ly in view of the cur­rent sit­u­a­tion, Heino Brose, Man­ag­ing Direc­tor of Syn­os­tik GmbH, sees a need for action here:

“Cur­rent­ly, man­u­fac­tur­ing com­pa­nies in par­tic­u­lar are feel­ing the delay of glob­al sup­ply chains. We should see this as an oppor­tu­ni­ty!” Accord­ing to Brose, region­al pro­duc­tion in Ger­many or the EU can be quite com­pet­i­tive, because effi­cient tech­nol­o­gy and clever main­te­nance can off­set high­er labor costs. In addi­tion, this can coun­ter­act a fur­ther wors­en­ing of the ener­gy cri­sis. “Now is the time to exploit all oppor­tu­ni­ties to increase effi­cien­cy in the industry.”
